About Our Director

C.C. Snyder is the Director of The Voices of Harmony chorus of The NorthWest Ohio Chapter.
C.C. Snyder was born in Troy, OH and started playing piano at the age of 5, beginning his life-long involvement
with music. He continued to study classical piano and French horn through high school, where he also
participated in every choir, band, and musical production the school had to offer.
After graduation, C.C. attended Bowling Green State University, majoring in Choral Music Education.
He studied conducting with R.D. Mathey and Mark S. Kelly. While attending BGSU, he performed with
the BGSU Men's Chorus, Collegiate Chorale, Summer Tour Chorale, A Cappella Choir, multiple opera
productions, and sang in 2 different varsity quartets. He also had the honor of serving the Men's Chorus
as their Assistant Director for three years.
C.C. took his education with him to Drum Corps International. There he traveled nationwide and
performed with the Northern Aurora Drum & Bugle Corps for four years, serving as their drum major.
He twice earned the Best Drum Major award for Drum Corps Midwest and led Northern Aurora to two
top 12 Div III finals appearances. After aging out, he went on to teach with Northern Aurora, the Marion
Cadets, and the Americanos.
C.C. is one of the founding members of the Voices of Harmony and the NorthWest Ohio Chapter. He
has served in a leadership role since the chapter's inception, serving as Vice-President of Music &
Performance four times and once as President. In 2008, after the retirement of founding director R.D.
Mathey, C.C. and Randy "Beef" Baughman took over directing responsibilities as co-directors. At the
end of 2009, C.C. was hired as Front Line Director and has since led the Voices of Harmony to two
bronze medals and a silver medal in the Johnny Appleseed District. He has competed in quartets with
Exit 181, placing 9th in the International College Contest, Parental Guidance Suggested, 3+1, and 4 Star,
which earned two bronze medals and a silver medal in JAD.
C.C. and his wife Chrissy live in Bowling Green, Ohio with their three children Ashton, Chase, and Cate.
C.C. and Chrissy are the owners of Crazy Prices and Crazy Deals Wholesale, which are liquidation
companies that donate their profits to charity.
